How to Order

Enquiries

All items displayed on this website are for sale. However, some pieces may be sold when you visit this website. Therefore, before buying, always enquire by e-mail first, whether a specific piece is still available. I will reply with all the necessary details, such as size(s), materials, colour, origin, age and price.

Packing & Shipping

All goods will be carefully wrapped and can be shipped by reputable courier to almost any destination in the world directly from the Home Gallery in Nairobi to you. Smaller items can be shipped by EMS Speed Post.

If you are in the US or Europe, goods usually arrive between 7 days and 3 weeks but, depending on your location and means of transport, may take as long as 6 weeks. All items are labelled with provenance, ie. tribe and country of origin.

Please note that, in the US all hand-crafted items imported from Kenya are duty-free. In all other countries please enquire from your local customs authority if you are required to pay duties or taxes for the goods.

Insurance

Goods are NOT automatically covered by insurance unless specifically requested by you at additional cost when placing the order.

Prices & Payment

The prices that I will initially quote to you are exclusive of shipping charges and insurance. Shipping and insurance charges will be quoted separately, depending on the agreed mode of shipping.

Payment can be made by:-

USD cheque made payable to LISA CHRISTOFFERSEN
COD, i.e. you pay Cash On Delivery when collecting the goods from the airport or courier company's office closest to your residence.
SWIFT bank transfer

When ordering I will give you all details on how to proceed with payment.
